Review: Vlad Em

Tallinn Learning:

Vlad, hello! We are very happy to see you at today’s interview. We would like to learn about your learning experience. Could you please tell us why you initially decided to enroll in a manual testing course?

Vlad:

Initially, I was studying programming, but during my studies I became most interested in the field of testing. I decided to take a manual testing course because I saw it as a great opportunity to start a career in IT. Testing gave me a deeper understanding of how software works and allowed me to enter the industry more quickly.

Tallinn Learning:

Great! We also know that you completed an automation testing course. Was it difficult to learn automated testing?

Vlad:

No, not at all. By that time, I already had experience in programming and writing automated tests in other languages. In addition, I found the learning process very interesting, so I was able to overcome any challenges quite quickly.

Tallinn Learning:

Wonderful! Vlad, we know that after completing your studies you successfully found a job 🙂 Were the knowledge and skills you gained during the course enough to pass job interviews?

Vlad:

Yes, I found a job quite quickly. The knowledge I gained was more than enough to complete two test assignments and generally start understanding and integrating into real working processes.

Tallinn Learning:

Excellent! What would you recommend to people who want to start a career in IT?

Vlad:

For those who want to start a career in IT, I would recommend not only actively developing technical skills but also expanding professional connections. It is very important to meet people who already work in this field, as it can significantly simplify the job search process. It is also worth keeping an eye on current market requirements and adapting your skills accordingly. Equally important is the ability to “sell” yourself: prepare a strong resume, develop your LinkedIn profile, and be ready to talk about your skills and achievements during interviews.

Tallinn Learning:

Vlad, thank you for taking part in this interview! We wish you great success in your professional career.
