Vlad:
I originally studied programming, but during my studies I became most interested in the field of testing. I decided to take a manual testing course because I saw it as a great way to start a career in IT. Testing gave me a deeper understanding of how software works and allowed me to enter the industry more quickly.

Great! We also know that you completed an automation testing course. Was it difficult to learn automated testing?
Vlad:
No, it wasn’t difficult at all. By the time I took the course, I already had experience in programming and writing automation in other languages. In addition, I found it very interesting, so I was able to overcome any learning challenges quite quickly.

Excellent! Vlad, we know that after completing your studies you managed to find a job successfully 🙂 Were the skills and knowledge you gained during the training enough to pass job interviews?
Vlad:
Yes, I found a job quite quickly. The knowledge I gained was more than enough to complete two test assignments and, in general, to start understanding and integrating into real work processes.

Great! What would you recommend to those who want to start a career in IT?
Vlad:
For those who want to start a career in IT, I recommend not only actively developing technical skills but also expanding their professional network. It’s very important to connect with people who already work in the field, as this can significantly simplify the job search process. It’s also worth keeping an eye on current market requirements and adapting your skills accordingly. Equally important is knowing how to “sell” yourself: create a strong CV, develop your LinkedIn profile, and be ready to talk about your skills and achievements during interviews.
